yes, RIP.....also he woz in my all time all time favourite film wot is Forbidden Planet.

I dont think anyone did deadpan much better. loved Airplane. would be in my top 10 comedy movies

He was in hilarious in many films. Loved Airplane.

Not just a very good comic actor. I saw Leslie Nielsen do a one-man play about the life of Clarence Darrow at the Malvern Festival Theatre once and he was jaw-droppingly good. Carried the whole show (obviously) and made a play about American history/law, which sounds yawn-mongous, extraordinarily interesting and moving.

Felt very sad this morning when I found out he'd passed away.

RIP Leslie.
