Dark Eden by Chris Becket.
Absolutely brilliant, one of the best SF books I have read.

Story about the offspring of 2 survivors of a starship crash on an alien planet. Four generations, and much copulation later  , the book tells the story of the 500+ human colony still awaiting rescue. Much about human behaviour is revealed, a bit like an adult "Lord of the Flies".

Superb, hope there is a sequel 8)

On the northern hemisphere we just had the darkest evening of the year, and winter solstice last night. I would recommend to start reading this book this weekend.
Great psychological thriller from Dean Koontz. It's about Amy Redwing, who runs a dog rescue home for bad treated Golden Retrievers. Fast paced, and wonderful story from a master story teller.

Today is the day that Wheel of Time fans have waited for (some have waited for 23 years to read the ending). The final book in the Wheel of Time series is released. "The grandest fantasy series ever written".

23 years. 11,000 pages. 15 books.

I am in the middle of book 6, so there is a lot remaining for me. But it still is a milestone today. The genius Brandon Sanderson has really done a great job with the last three books, after Jordan's death.

But... I'm sorry to say that it does not have anything to do with "our" band.

Stephen King re-read project continues. The following finished last year:

The Shining (1977)
Rage (1977)
Night Shift (1978)
The Stand (1978)
The Long Walk (1979)

Also just finished reading two Dean Koontz novels. One brand new, and one classic:

Innocence (2013)
The Vision (1977)

Innocence was absolutely awesome!

Now just started:

Stephen King - The Dead Zone (1979)

This book (like the first book in the series) is not like your usual fantasy book. This book is a piece of art!
Brandon Sanderson is the most amazing fantasy author. His vision with the fantasy genre is vast!
I bought this yesterday. Will not get around to read it yet, but I look forward to it!

Currently reading Game of Thrones vol.1..getting more and more lazy when it comes to pick me book up. Either too tired or wanting to blast out some music instead. Usually put on the phones when I do get round to it and put on some classical. Anything else distracts me..

I'm guessing it's one of these books that are made up of Wikipedia articles gathered together.

The book number is the same as this one: http://www.bookadda.com/books/tangerine ... 5511384702
