goodbye to Forums

well, that's another forum I won't be visiting. Why are people so intollerant to other people's tastes in music? Every forum I've ever read always degenerates into pointless arguments about nothing, on and on.
I'll be staying on this one and if it starts over here then I won't even bother in future. Better to go back to the 80's then, no contact with other fans, other than at concerts and you just have the music, perhaps then we all realised what enjoying music was all about?.

It's when you read some of the other fora that you realise just what we have here... it may go quiet now and again, but the pervading attitude is spot on. Long may it continue (and keep your pecker up Andy!)

BTW I'm not just referring to EM forums. To be honest I'm just bored ****less with all the load tit for tat arguments about nothing, basically they can be summed up as 'I'm right, you're wrong' x 100's of posts.

)...but I'm not learning anything new, or perhaps put another way (it may sound big headed the way I wrote it) I don't enjoy reading all this rubbish. It's all heat and no light whatsoever. You can't say anything positive about anything anymore (and yes I'm talking about all forums). As strange as it might sound, I actually like helping people on forums with info and background stories, its got to the stage where I've almost become what I dislike.... So, sod it. Better to just post here, at least most of the people over here know being a fan of music is about the music.
