i phone app

Post by NAVEL OF LIGHT »

After a discussion with Glyn about iphones/ipod apps at the RAH and the one he is destined to make! (cant wait Gynn...)..it would be great to have an official Tangerine Dream app.

Surely worth doing, some bands (marillion for one) have an app already and they run a simular set up to TD with all in house studios etc.

CAN IT BE DONE EB?

1st question is what should the app do? An official discography / tour diary?

I think an RSS feed would be cool - certainly have a wider audience and be a lot quicker to set up - with latest news / upcoming releases & gigs.

Mind you with TD's prolificity maybe the discography should be an RSS feed
imho

An TD iphone app would be nice. . . :) . Using the iphone while on the TD forum is a bummer. Too small. Need something easier to handle. A good idea.

But the question is, is Apple willing to accept one. :(

Why an I-phone app ?
Is there no browser present ?
Is it hard to browse at an I-phone ?
I like to have a nokia app (symbian)
My nokia 5800 has a browser on board.
And I can browse the TD forum without any problem !!

................. :?:
