TD CHARITY MEMORABILIA RAFFLE June-July 2007

Post by 24db »

Is anybody interested in doing a raffle of TD items? I'm thinking about doing something after the concert, I'm not sure whether it would be popular or even worth running, perhaps I might include some scans of old adverts, one or two TD posters or a few TDI CDs? (or perhaps we could pool a few items we might have laying around...not just TD) We could run it here (if TD don't mind) and 'all' the profits go to a charity, I thought about Diabetes research, I seem to remember that Syd Barratt suffered from this disease. Perhaps it might be fitting as TD and the Floyd have their 40th anniversary this year, and obviously MFD is dedicated to Syd. Any ideas or comments?

Good idea but I can't think of anything TD related that I want to part company with.

Likewise, I've only just started collecting the stuff!

Good man, let's arrange something later in the year. Mind you we'll need more interest or the whole thing will be pointless IMHO

Let's get the whole gig, merch and credit card bills out of the way first, then I can sort out what might be a good package of items (I'll be putting up more than one prize). Afterall I'd to get as much as possible for charity...either that on I put it on eBay (you can select which charity when you sell things I seem to remember). Who know's perhaps sept 29th might be a good date to select the winners?

OK, I'm making a start on the Raffle...don't get excited as I haven't added many items 'yet', I'll be working on this until June.

'all suggestions' welcomed...keep 'em clean ;)
