syndae - episode 203

Post by treibklang »

Getting into music for restless legs in this fresh edition. At the beginning, I have two tracks of the compilation This is good tea for you, sounds and beats by City at Worlds end and Aetheros. These are immediately followed by german artist Noston, with a track from Six, and polish composer Dieter Werner, giving a confession. Not stopping yet, as we then have Aris Hatzidakis from Greece giving us Birn. And our luscious closer comes from Faktor4's album Chciliatic.

Weekend is near, time to downshift. Simply take place in your long chair, lean back, close your eyes and listen to syndae. Fetch a breeze of summer and easiness with the right sounds on your ears. We have a slow start tonight with Stefan Erbe. And we will not speed up in this 30 minutes of chilling music, like brought to you by Insomus. Getting very much Malibu feeling with Mark P. Adler. Some fresh and unbending sound colour variations then from a preview on the upcoming album by Tonefabric, going Florida-ish and Indian. And finishing it all with a marvellous track by Soundwalker.

Back from a short wild trip to New York City, and I think tonight's choice in music somewhat reflects the mood of that place. A lively and narcissistic city that reaches out to the sky even when beaten down. Similar holds for the sounds of this show, I'd say. Music that seems to love itself, gets lost in the wild, but always well grounded. It all starts with electronic rock by Computerchemist and Zsolt Galántai's Signatures, which comes in two volumes. Followed by some nice referencing work by Uwe Cremer and Thomas Rydell with their Sirius Singularity. Entering a bit more drive and harshness with Pandacetamol's Crestfallen. It's Mythos then bringing us a peek of Surround Sound Evolution, although not surround on the show. And closing up with another track from the Signatures album.

Quite a number of new releases on tonight's show, opened by the new album Zeitenwende by moonbooter. Also fresh from the stove comes Meesha's free album Ether. As is Alone by id Submerged, which just entered the list of fine releases at kahvi. Solar phases are what Deltason is up to on his recent music treasure. And then we have Hagen von Bergen as a new name with his 2010 album Jetzt!. A peek into the future is provided from Apollo by Banco de Gaia. Which is followed by tonight's closing track from moonbooter's Zeitenwende.

Walking on the darker and more ambient side tonight. Maybe, it's because of the weather sticking to its darkness and cold for so long, but the music is not really dragging one down. So while there is a happy party in Bochum, namely the Schallwelle Awards, here come sounds providing brain training. We start with Lefolk's asking us Isn't this Dangerous? Followed by some Kartography by Praguedren. We then listen to Morsemusik, actually a collaboration track by Christian Doil and Altus. We are learning that Emotions are Desert Islands from aAirial and enjoy some Photogenesis by Ryan Lucht. Then, eyes cast down debuts with The Separate Ones. While The Ghost Between the Strings and Mystified continue their collaboration with Ghostbone 2. And finally, we visit The Master of Crossroads with Ujjaya.

What a colorful episode we have tonight, mostly blueish with sprinkles of red and yellow will jump out of the speakers to you. The session starts with a double by Code Indigo and their upcoming album Meltdown. Pursued by some Klangfarben (i.e., colors of sound) brought to us by Klangwald. We then get bright yellow Sun beams served by Thaneco. Right before we go back to relish the king of the blue with RAL 5002 by TMA featuring Martinson.

Tonight it's nearly all about E-Day in one way or the other, and the E still does not mean Easter (ok, bad joke). Btw., E-Day is organized by Groove Unlimited, the label run by Ron Boots and also the one releasing many of the albums on tonight's episode. And it starts with a brand new album, to be released at E-Day. It is named PrimiTiveS and a wonderful collaboration work by Remy and Synth.nl. The following album, still fresh and tasty, is by TM Solver and named Sparkling, also available at E-Day with SynGate. The final three tracks are by artists you can enjoy live a the festival, and all of them deserve it. The first is René Splinter with Singularities, followed by the youngest EM performer ever at E-Day, Synthex. And finally, we have German multi-artist Bernhard Wöstheinrich. Hope to see many of you in Oirschot.

More on the easy going, lightweight music path tonight, having quite a bunch of recent releases on the listening menu. Like the brand new album by Janneh called Transitions. And one of the twosome by Paul Sills, where we hear from White light. In between, a free compilation of Noston's musical works as Pied Piper. Followed by a track from Beyond the Realm of Angels by Steve Orchard. Then the finally finished Cities by Kikai. And finally a classic track from History by Pyramid Peak.

I'm not sure what makes me go for beats tonight. Maybe, it's spring finally reaching my living space. Could also be that I am just happy and mentally dancing along. Whatsoever, this episode is more into rhythm. And it starts right away with music perfectly describing my state of mind with Method, the brand new album by Stefan Erbe. Immediately followed by some Future Lounge presented by Giuliano Rodrigues. We then get into Mirko Edelmann's Dirty Things. Followed by a little reminder on Banco de Gaia's Apollo. Afterwards, some live recording from Space Wanderers by EugeneKha. And then experiencing the Wrath of the Gods by Weldroid. Tonight's closer come from Wellenfeld and their recently released Pandemie.

A night blue blanket just covered the sky over here, and I'm right in the mood for serene music, with beautiful scapes but not too boring. So here come the tracks reflecting the rest I need from a turbulent week. On tonight's show, fantastic music by Altus, Exuviae, Hajo Liese & Alien Nature, John Puchiele Ensemble, Kevin Lyons, Pete Farn, and Sava Marinkovic.

Walking the traditional line tonight, where I have some nice treats for your sweet tooth. It all begins with some Particles spread by Joost Egelie. Followed by electronic Layers layed out by Tangram. It's not the triad, but Dyad being then gathered by Perge. Afterwards, french Bertrand Loreau takes us for some Nostalgic Steps. With some immediate contrast programme with Maciej Braschiszewski's Beatyficare. We then lend an ear to E-Musikgruppe Lux Ohr showing us their Kometenbahn. And, finally, dive into the Blue together with Broekhuis, Keller, and Schönwälder.

Sometimes, you need a little poke for having the right vision. I got one for compiling tonight's show, thanks to Jörg Erren. Now, to me, this resulted in a really cool set of tracks of not so common but stunning electronic music and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did. It all starts with the brand new album Protozorq by Weldroid as marvelous entrée. Followed by a look back on Morphogenic by Parallel Worlds and Dave Bessel. Then, new names to syndae, starting with Musica para Khaos, no chaos at all with Otro Viaje con Jacques Cousteau. Some astounding live jam track, thereafter, by NYC-based Rheyne. And finally, Weathered Wall with a portion of Black Blood.

Some times are just fortunate, and time washes luck ashore ones life. A wonderful thing this is, even more so, if it happens to people close to you. Well, I feel quite lucky, and I hope and think, some of you do so as well. Hence, time for beautiful sounds of heaven. Starting right into it with Acrilic Colors' Ab Origine. And then, we let the Parallel Sun shine on us. Afterwards, Kangaroo MusiQue gives an inspiring moment from Kometenjunge II. Just before Owann enchants us with his beautiful Meadows. Richard Bone then shows Images from a Parallel Word. While Data Rebel presents Illusions of Reality. Very intreaguing at last, we get an Introduction by The Glimmer Room.
