I have to say I had an absolute ball yesterday! It started at work with a friend singing 'Happy Birthday' yesterday morning down a long corridor at me! Before I got to my office a polite student said 'Happy Birthday Conrad!', of course I was quite confused as to how she knew! By the time I got to my office I knew why!!! My friend and work colleague had been in early and decorated the outside and inside of my office with a multitude of '40 Today' balloons, posters and even a banner with '40 Midlife Crisis' on it! I was rightly Tango'd!!! Went to lunch with friends from work and then went for a nice meal yesterday evening before returning home to pack for a few days in Dublin from today! When I went to go home from work yesterday, my friends had tied balloons to both side mirrors with strong cord, so I was forced to drive home with them flapping in the wind. Quite amusing!! Last night, I caught up on a deluge of Facebook and MySpace messages - their servers must have been under pressure yesterday!!!!
