Looking forward to Seasick Steve at Sheffield April 16th, and then looking forward to a few bands at the Isle of Wight Festival in the summer :D

JMJ in Stockholm 29th October. It was pretty good but too many modern songs with heavy bass and flashing lights (grandpa wants to play the music of the youth). Would have prefered more of the old melodic stuff. However, it was nice to see the laser harp again! :-)

Saw Beranek live in Oslo yesterday. He played his 1981 classic new wave album Sound of Danger. Fabulous concert!
Sound of Danger is just re-released on CD and vinyl.

I have the 83 and 84 albums X-Ray and Trigger by Beranek. Some very fine tracks there.

Yes, X-Ray I have on vinyl. That one is also good. Let's see if he plays that entire album next time. I have Sound Of Danger in order (regret that, because he sold that re-release, and a whole lot of other albums yesterday, so wish I bought it there, but at least it is on it's way to me). If you have not heard Sound Of Danger, take a listen. It's on Spotify. There are som fabulous tracks there. For example Crystal Dream (Ståle and I had goosebumps on that one yesterday!).
Be sure to also check out his most recent album Sensitive Dependence (2013), which came as a huge surprise to me when I first heard it. It's really amazing! For example the track Part Of The Puzzle, but there is not a weak track on it. :-)

I didn't know he had released a recent album. Nice to see that he still works with music.

Lend half an ear to Sensitive Depencence. I would be curious to know what you think of it. :-)

Will see Nils Frahm here in Oslo tonight. My first concert with him. He came as a surprise to me last year. Never heard of him before, and he sells out big concert halls. And he should also be of interest to TD (and more ambient) fans. Beautiful electro/acoustic music. Any of you heard him?
Recommended listen is the album All Melody from 2018.
