What's the story with the PM's?

I've just had a PM telling me that PM's are disabled on this board.

Mmm. I'm sure there are some not so nice bits flying about in PM's these days.

"Hi Graeme,

As someone is spamming the Private Message area
we had to disable it for a while - sorry for this.

I'd say they've got their work cut out, the forum has taken a bit of a battering lately.

Perhaps Einsteins Barber has had too many unmovable erections lately  could be that the spammers products have had him rising to the occasion and its hit the disable button

Been a fortnight since the PM function was disabled. An update would be nice!

Just one of many things on the forum that need fixing, at the moment each time I look at the main page it's completely random which hour or day I can see....sometimes it's up to date, sometimes it's not and I always have to log in. To say it's annoying is putting it mildly. It's now that TD need this forum working at 100%, especially as there's a concert announced and fans need to arrange tickets, flights and Hotels.

I wonder if Einsteins Barber can add any insight why this is still a problem and when it might be fixed?. Cheers
