I have recently watched compilations of his documentaries on More4, he is a very intelligent scientist, but sometimes is as 'i am right' as the people who believe (in excess of 45percent of americans) in creationism and that the earth is 10,000 years old

Mate of mine is a creationist.

When asked how he explained the dinosaurs he said God put their fossils in the ground when he made the Earth. Good answer I thought.

science edges closer to not having an answer:

im more concerned that scientists can send packets of neutrinos that apparently travel faster than light. and yet it takes thee royal mail 5 days to deliver a letter sent to me first class....that was posted 2 miles from my house.

 The Royal mail seems to be falling deeper into the mire. The lad who delivered a parcel here yesterday said they were already (5) days behind schedule at the local sorting office which is just over a mile away.

Since they have changed all the system around locally,he said they can not complete their work somedays, and un-posted mail is returned to the office  They want more work out of them for the same money and they seem to be finding it impossible.

The backlog of mail has got so bad some weeks, that senior management figures have been posting mail on a Sunday  :o the worker told me the warehouse is jammed with parcels, and has been for some time.

Little wonder so much mail is going missing
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.
