Tea is a wonderful thing. I love most kinds of tea, although I went through an herbal phase some time ago, and had my fill. Now, there are only a few herbals I'll bother with. But I'll take almost any variety of black tea or oolong. Green teas only once in a while. Darjeeling is one of my favorites. I don't mind Early Grey, but some brands are too strong. Twinings makes Lady Grey, which is actually very nice. I tried lapsang souchong many years ago and didn't like it. It's probably time I tried it again. Perhaps with a dram of Laphroaig thrown in . . . :)

Ah now were talking!

Colin what about Penderyn Welsh single Malt - fruity little number!

Tyrconnel Irish single Malt is by far the smoothest ive tasted, but am partial to Glenffidich in large glasses.

I have tasted Penderyn a few times and its quite nice, but not the Tyrconnel...............Of Irish whiskies ive tasted Jameson is a big favorite, but Scotland's Glenfiddich has just got that little edge for me......
I hope we can get a chance to share a few drams in London,i know that Geoff(taximan) is partial to a few :D

I prefer coffee. I always have a cup in the morning. It seems to get me off my arse when nothing else does.

I love tea. (and coffee) I drink nowadays only green tea with sweet in it, no sugar. I don't like the teas with fruit and that sort of things. Only pure tea like Darjeeling, green tea, Kenilworth etc.

also liptons ice tea (especially the lemon and peach flavours) is jolly tasty when superchilled, it makes a great sipping substitute for beer and other prohibited beverages that are rapidly undermining the stability of this great nation and its population
