any genesis fans here?

I recommend checking out one of my favourite 'prog' groups from the 70's :
fruupp : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruupp

they supported Genesis and released 4 totally total albums, of which my fav is The Prince of Heaven's Eyes : http://www.dcrp.ced.berkeley.edu/Cervero/princeeyes.htm

they used mellotrons to subtle effect and the olde englyshe whimsy imho, eclipsed the work Genesis were doing at the tyme......

another prog band I enjoy is Gryphon

big [ flares, frills and foppy floppy haired ] moog

Fruup??? never heard of and I am a symphonic rock fan for almost 40 years. So there is something I missed.

Gryphon, remember them. As I am correctly also a bit folky. Nice music with dito sleeves. But now I go into my mind for a long time ago.
