Just come back from the cinema with the boys. We saw Flushed Away which was just great. Very funny and kept the boys happy.

In memory of the late Robert Altman - one of my all time favourite directors - I have been watching many of his films lately, including:

M*A*S*H
Short Cuts (one of my Top 10 movies of all time)
Gosford Park

and his latest masterpiece

A Prairie Home Companion with a brilliant cast including Meryl Streep, John C. Reilly, Kevin Kline, Woody Harrelson and Lily Tomlin.

I've had some festive DVDs out - Dollars trilogy then Pale Rider (there was at least some snow in that one). Go Clint!

Any one seen his Flags of our Fathers?

Monumental film - aren't we being treated (this month supposidly!) with a 4 Disc DVD box set of all the Bladerunner versions remastered and in 5.1?.

Yeh, it was great. I could stand to see it a few more times. I'll probably get the DVD when it comes out.

My late Fathers favourite film. He used to use a lot of dialogue from the movie when trying to be funny.

Later on I'll be watching Nanny McPhee :(

Audition from Miike Takashi, if you can reach the end of the film, this one shocked me, this is weird, just see it and you don't believe it.
The way a world of dreams is going on!
