Seems a good place BM with an impressive list of artists who have played 8)

i saw current93 play there years ago.....the atmosphere, intimacy and eerie church acoustics would work well for td.....

I didn't mind the Astoria. Sure it's tatty and they only serve shite beer, but at least you can make the pub post gig! :D

You wouldn't think it would be that hard, as I only work half the days of the year. It's become more difficult now the wife is back at work though, as we don't have any babysitters!

I know how you feel Mick...I've missed quite a few gigs this year...annoying to say the least

can't we have somewhere new Tim? SBE...4 times? Asstoria...2 times?

don't get me wrong I'd sooner see at 'any' venue rather than miss them, it's just that after the comfort of the Alte Oper is shows you what a really nice venue can be...and then you schelp down to the Asstoria

blimey....trys to remember....hmmm nice venue (big hall!).
RFH...very nice (I'm blanking out the actual gig and leg room)
hammersmith Odeon/Apollo...not too bad...shame we paid for new seats over the years and then TD never played there again

Didn't Peter go to the Apollo Victoria, I wonder what that is like as a venue?

RFH was great, SBE was good and the Astoria was acceptable. So I'd go for the RFH. At least you get somewhere to sit.
