Cheers, I've got several of his early discs...there's some nice stuff on them, but it's very uneven and a bit toooooooooooooooo long...but that's just my opinion

I think I have a recording of SSO live at Heaven in London (it's a Club), sadly the hemp box still doesn't make the music that interesting 'to me'. However at their best they can or could do some great atmospheric/sequencer tracks, but I sometimes think they're lacking one last 'killer' melody or 'something' to make them stand out.

More power to you mate! you don't need any technical appreciation to love music. It's like when people say 'I can't get into Jazz, it's too intellectual'...what rubbish!!! how can a chord or a note be harder to understand than another?. It's bleeding music, there to be enjoyed or not, it's not about flow charts, mathematics or frequency meters....or at least not IMHO ;)

I could not agree with you more mate, there have been some great musicians who were self taught, they could not read a note
