Chris Franke solo album

Post by Lucan »

I think I remember reading somewhere recently that there's an unreleased CF solo album from the 1970s coming out soon. Is that true, or did I dream it?

I've not heard anything to this effect and my initial reaction is that whatever you've heard is probably a hoax. A dream then, but a nice one.

If 'Chimes & Chains' from 70-80 box set is anything to go by, if it is true about a solo LP it should be a stormer !.

I thought He was planning something way back then. Maybe nothing came of it except the excellent Chimes & Chains, mastered by Nimbus for superiour fidelity (sorry D_V, I couldn't help it :D )...

I really like Electric becomes Eclectic - a superb follow - on from Sequent c IMO.

'Chimes & Chains' from 70-80 box set mastered by Nimbus for superior fidelity is excellent in terms of sound quality. However, even the first time I heard it I thought this track is going nowhere in terms of structure.... he was much better as part of TD methinks :)

I remember this mythical album being discussed recently - perhaps towards the end of the previous forum. Someone had been asking about the Sonic Images newsletters and mailings, and it led to mention of this quote from around the early eighties.

Alas, I have not heard anything since then... it would be nice to hear anything electronic from CF, but especially from the early days.

Isn't Franke working on the Babylon 5: Lost Tales soundtrack?

It's not like his official site is updated, is it.
