NEKTAR's new covers album is named

In association with Cleopatra records, Nektar is about to release a covers album containing the following songlist and guest artists

Would this be a new version with Nektar or is it just lifted from TD's Under Cover Chapter One album??

Guessing it's Nektar's own version, but with Edgar supplying guitar.
May be possible they're using the same guitar part he did on Under Cover however.....time will tell, once the album comes out.

Nothing definite. Even on their own site it just says "about to release".

Interview here with guitarist Roye Albrighton:

11. What are some of your future plans?

In a few months time Nektar will be releasing an album called 'a spoonful of time' this will be an album of cover song that have been Nektarized to some extennt. We had the oportunity to have on board the musicianship of the likes of Rick Wakeman, John Wetton, Ginger Baker..and many more who will be putting their touches to it.

Also being worked on at the momentis a new DVD recorded at the Key club in LA.

This year will also see the finalizing of Nektars new album 'Juggernaut' that had to be delayed due to other work.

Just purchased this Nektar release and was very surprised to find that on the Wish You Were Here track Edgar is actually on keyboards and not on guitar. Not a bad version with a few little changes and Edgar sitting nicely in the background. Have been a Nektar fan for many years so nice to have an album by them with Edgar guesting on one track.
