I would just like to say that on the 3 occasions i met SJ,he came across as a very nice amiable person who had time for others.

Got to agree - such a warm and friendly person, and genuinely unaware of a lot of the goings-on in the band since he left it all behind him.
He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!

Steve is three weeks in Valencia now, so orders will be handled from 23rd july. But he is every day online, so you can ask him questions or send him a message.

Here are some infos to the book:

Steve writes very detailed and amusing about his childhood. Very interesting is where he writes about his times being with The Joint, the former group of Supertramp and being member of Steamhammer.

For Tangerine Dream fans it would be very interesting to read something about the time before Electronic Meditation. Edgar, Steve and Klaus Schulze did a little german tour and they had a great time. Being in 1978 would be very hard to read for some fans, because of the conflict Edgar and Steve had. I think it is very honest to write it, why should Steve lie? I am also an Edgar Froese fan and was a little bit shocked to read it but then I talked with Steve about it and understand his position. But I still esteem Edgar very much. Steve had a very friendly contact with Edgar before the cyclone tour and he was disappointed that his friend has altered when he met him again.

The only thing I had to critizice was that Steve wrote very detailed about the time up to 1978 but wrote not so much about his enduring solo career and recording his albums. I missed a lot of things in a book about that era.

But for Tangerine Dream fans it is a must!

After a lot of requests we have now updated the new Steve Jolliffe site.

We have added a lot of sound clips of all his albums. That will make it much easier to pick out the music you like.

http://stevejolliffe.jimdo.com/steve-jolliffe/audio/

You can order every album for a very price directly on Steves site.

Good service from Steve as well, all the discs I'd ordered were signed, and he also included a bonus DVDR...I couldn't ask for more (well I could have asked for the flat Saxophone but that might have been cheeky) ;)

Ordered on these comments  . cant moan at £9
