Not forgetting the new album :)

Jerome Froese's second solo album called "Shiver me timbers" will be released at the end of April, 2007...

The mastering is almost done and we are glad to inform you about the details:

10 titles with a total lenght of 64 minutes and 17 seconds
Cover artwork by Monique Froese

Tracklisting:

01. Economical with the truth - 06mn 55s
02. A mellow morning - 06mn 36s
03. Mrs. Misty Kiss - 06mn 33s
04. Colorless green ideas sleep furiously - 05mn 51s
05. Daisy's Drug - 08mn 10s
06. Ye gods and little fishes - 04mn 19s
07. Haunting your home and neighborhood - 09mn 32s
08. Through love and deed - 06mn 0s
09. Playing for penalties - 05mn 20s
10. Strictly from nowhere - 04mn 40s

Like on "Neptunes" everything you hear is mainly based on guitars but in some places it sounds quite different to its predecessor. You'll find spheric guitar walls and arppegios as well as distorted and disturbing moments. "Shiver me timbers" opens another chapter which is definitely linked to Jerome's handwriting.

A gig is in the works as well .....

Not sure about the album title, but it's good to see a TDesque title slipping in at no.4!

It's this snippet of info. that concerns me, as I've very little from this period and can't afford to buy them en masse.

"Due to an agreement between Edgar and Jerome Froese, most TD albums between 1990 and 2006 are going to be corrected after the last units have been sold to the public".

This would appear to be a radical and unnecessary step, unless there has been a falling out. Jerome could still have had the rights to his compositions without withdrawing the cd's from sale. Also, it states that this measure applies to "most" albums of the specified period. My questions are, which albums?, what are remaining stocks like?

Looks like TD are creating a black market, where genuine fans will have to pay over the odds, to obtain these items.

This morning I am one very disgruntled fan. Maybe TD can make my day worse, by announcing live dates I am unable to attend! :( :x

Interesting that this site has substituted the word "d e l e t e d", with "corrected", in my previous post.

At last....

Something of interest, and further recognition for the much-missed Monique.
