and here. Great quality throughout, but my favourites are Perpetual Motion and The Avatar, which are very clever melodic arrangements.
Thanks to Conrad for the input on this one as well, who's not dreaming of having their name acknowledged on a TD related release? 8)

Having heard Early Beginnings, and liked it, I suggest you also listen to the double CD compilation from Johannes website Images And Memory. I think as well as being representative of all his work since leaving The Dream it is also a good album in its own right

I wonder how long it'll be before we see a truly new album from Johannes?

By far, J Schmoelling is my favorite composer. I will buy anything he produces without hearing one note of it.

Instant City is simply fantastic. Then again all his work is great. There are few musician's who can always put a grin on my face from never being disappointed by what they do like JS.

The Anteater, Native Eye Native Ear (my fav), Ziet, Instant City, Perpetual Motion, Stratosphere (his version), The Woodpecker, well, I can go one endlessly... just excellent!

How precise you are Timer! Maybe this is why a majority of my favorite TD albums were from the early 80s which Schmoelling was part of. I too think 'Early Beginnings' is Schmoelling's best work ever in his solo career. This fan definitely gives Johannes 2 big thumbs up!! :D

I haven't heard 'Early Beginnings' yet but I'm definitely interested.

I've heard 'Wuivend Riet', 'Instant City' and 'White Out' and some of the tracks are really good... you can hear how big his input into TD was.
