TD will not be TD without EF :!:
Part of me thinks TD is a band and not a single person.

I would not feel anything except loss. It would be over and then I could assess finally, the wonderful artistic legacy of the singular force (majeure) in Electronic Music. :D

Depends how the mighty EF steps down, I find it hard to believe he'll take up bowling instead while a band called TD is making music.

No matter how great the music is (and I believe we mainly have a high regard for TQ) and it may be called TD, it's hard to conceive of a EF-less TD.

But that's all the thinking on that subject I want to do!
imho

Who knows. Maybe Jerome will go on with TD again. Besides what is in a name.

If someone, apart from Edgar, went forward with the TD name I guess that I would judge them by their output. Should they manage that Tangerine Dreaminess that the band has achieved so far then I'll continue to listen. If however they don't reach the right level of Dreaminess then I'll drop them like a stone.

On principle I have no problem with TD continuing after Edgar. It would be hard to adjust to such a change, but as long as the music continued in TD's vein and was of sufficient qualilty, then I'd happily carry on following them. Edgar has always said the music was far more important than him as an individual, so I hope it will continue when he finally decides to call it a day and retire to the coast with Bianca.

As Edgar goes....So goes TD..

Whatever does become of TD, It was a Great run.... :)

I think Jerome is missing out on a great opportunity to keep the franchise going... :?

Somehow, I find this thread a little bleak. I tend to live in the now. And TD is better than ever, imho.
