The 'forgotten' members from TD's early years

Post by 24db »

We 'mostly' know all about TD'sunshine-members and their solo careers etc etc. But, whatever happened to?:

Eliot Cromwell
Karsten Dorinth
Sven Ake Johansson (TD's drummer)
Shawn Ron Seal
Philip van de Gros
Malcolm Hines
Steve Lemmon (From Holland, he replaced Kurt Herkenberg, on Bass?)
Al Akhbah (TD's drummer from Ghana, circa 1969. He was in the same lineup as Steve Jolliffe and Edgar. Im guessing that Klaus Schulze replaced him?)
Happy Dieter (on Bass circa 1969, he was in the same lineup as Klaus Schulze and Edgar)

Whilst on the subject of TD's early years, whatever happened to the first lineup?:

Volker Hombach (saxophone, flute, and violin)
Lanse Hapshash (on drums)
Kurt Herkenberg (on bass)
Charlie Prince (vocals).

I seem to remember that sadly Kurt Herkenberg had died* (he was also in Curly Curve I think; a group that also played at the Zodiak Free Arts Club at the same time as TD)

update: Kurt Herkenberg died under mysterious circumstances in a Berlin waterway in 1983
