many thanks to David Jennings for the scan
I wonder if a certain Mr Ridley Scott read that interview? This is well before Legend. Mind you TD wasn't his first choice for Legend.

I wish they'd done the score for Alien too. The score used is pretty awesome and fairly spot on but I reckon TD could have topped it.

Couldn't agree more. It's a very chilling score, very understated. Can't help but think "What would TD do with this?".

of course it's not totally unheard of (no pun intended) to have a completed score replaced, Alex North's music for 2001, a Space Odyssey springs to mind.
