Hamlet

Post by cantosis »

When was the last time this was played live at a TD gig?? Don`t think I have ever had the pleasure of hearing it live. don`t think it was played in any of the late 90s London gigs??.

I would love the Frankfurt encore to be Love On A Real Train, backstreet Hero and Hamlet to finish 8)

It was certainly played at the SBE in November 1996 and the US tour of 1992 had it at most shows..........It also featured at the Astoria 2003 8)
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

one of the by-products of Cider drinking no doubt? ;)

:D no what I meant was I'm not un-criticial of what TD and Edgar has done and still do...but they'll always have my respect. '40 years of music', the words don't come near to what it actually means to me.

Dont touch the applely stuff meself.

Could agree more with your point Andy, TD can be very emotional at time, and more so live.

I am not a guitar expert but I have always thought the playing on Hamlet is quite complicated, its not Steve Vai power playing but it sounds quite intense, you can really feel the emotion thats why I love that track.

I hope age doesnt stop Edgar from playing it.
