IMPORTANT MESSAGE - CRUISE TO THE EDGE - TD cancelled!

Post by Einstein's Barber (ADMIN) »

Hi Guys,

What a frustrating message to you....:

Tangerine Dream unfortunately have to cancel their participation on the CTTE tour (Cruise To The Edge - sailing from March 25-30, 2013) due to the illness of two long-time members of the band (Edgar and Linda) - their doctors interdicted them to fly.

Edgar had an accident on icy ground and unfortunately broke his jaw - he already went through surgery and is recovering slowly.

Both, Edgar and Linda, are very sad about their situation and apologize very much for the inconveniences caused, but they have no influence in this kind of force majeure.

We try to convince the organizer to invite us for one of the next cruises and will let you know then.

So far for now....

Best regards,

Sorry to hear this news. Best wishes to Edgar and Linda and hopefully a speedy recovery. I did not have plans to attend this show but I'm sure it would have been quite an event with TD 'on board'.
Look for the sounds of Digital Horizons at http://digitalhorizons.bandcamp.com/ and on iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon Downloads and Reverbnation.

I too was not going on thsi cruise, but I do have a friend on Facebook who was - I have messaged her with the bad news. Pretty sure she was only going because of TD's involvement

I don't think anybody can imagine how devastated I am by this news. Tangerine Dream was the ONLY reason I wanted to go on this Cruise. Well, sugar spills I suppose. I sincerely hope both Mr Froese and Ms Spa recover fully and quickly. My best wishes to you both. ;-/ Dell

This was the most sad news to wake up to. TD would have been the HIGHLIGHT on this fantastic event!
But first of all I wish Edgar and Linda a good and quick recovery, and I hope all will be back to normal in the wonderful TD camp as soon as possible.
All the best from a disappointed but still grateful TD fan.

Get well Edgar and Linda. I wasn't going, but I nearly did though and it would have only been to see TD, so lucky break for me I guess.

Sad news for those that booked just to see TD. I'm sure it will still be an event to remember.

Maybe Thorsten could assemble PPM and do a 'covers' gig.
