Greece would be hard on the nerves for me,im terrified of flying and would need some good tranquilisers for a Greece trip

The flight's not too long Colin. My problem with flying is the boredom and I don't like being confined for too long, as I miss the freedom of wide open spaces . I occasionally get bad problems with my ears on the descent, as well. It never seems so bad on the outward journey, because of the excitement and anticipation that awaits at journey's end, but the return trip, I always find a little depressing. Once the holiday is over, I just want to get home as quickly as possible.

I love greece, particularly the beautiful island of Kefalonia, where I stay with her every year for 2 weeks in the summa.......the kefalonian meat pie is something else...and the souvlakis......and the er....seagulls are effing HUGE

I've been there, many years ago, and very nice it was too. Got caught in an earthquake though and that was a little scary.

the caves on kefalonia (there have been concerts held in side....acoustics are awesome.....)

Ahh yes I remember it well. Beautiful location but aren't the caves full of water. Can't imagine TD loading all their equipment into boats.

well, the drogarati caves are deep caves no water, just amazing stalagtites etc and an eerie sheen

I'm afraid my experience of Greece is not very good.
My wife was took ill on Skiathos and ended up in a hospital in Volos.
This was after only 4 days into a 2 week holiday.
Put us off a bit i'm afraid not a pleasant experience
