SECOND CONCERT IN GERMANY - Waldbühne NORTHEIM

Post by Einstein's Barber (ADMIN) »

"TANGERINE DREAM - ROCKING SILVER SKY" on the occasion of the FESTIVAL "FROM EARTH TO UNIVERSE"
Where: WALDBÜHNE NORTHEIM - OPEN AIR (close to Hanover and the Harz mountains)
When: 29th August 2009
(festival doors open from 3 p.m., TD performing from 09.30 pm)
Other well-known bands: TEN YEARS AFTER, Martin Turner's WISHBONE ASH, NEKTAR & NOETICS

We are happy to announce this OPEN AIR CONCERT together with a great LASERSHOW and many more musical delicacies.
The WALDBÜHNE NORTHEIM is one of the most beautiful open air stages in Germany directly situated in the forest and
disposes of fantastic acoustics. Tangerine Dream - headlining the festival - got invited rather spontaneously to this great event
and we are pleased to perform the last summer weekend in August 2009 - two days in a row - for you (Sunday, 30 Aug in Berlin).

Hi Glyn,

It's a three hours ride by car (ca. 300 km) or a 2h45 min ride by train (ICE).

Hope to see you there!:-)

Just for infomation what is the nearest airport to the location?

Hi epsilon75,

The closest airport to Northeim is HANOVER (1h by car/bus).

We dont arrive in Schonefeld until the Saturday evening, the problem is finding a way to re-arrange flights etc. If these concerts were announced together it would have been much easier to plan all journeys, now its down to back tracking and re-arrangements,it may be possible but will have to see what we can do
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.
