When will something be coming to us like canyon dreams? I wish I had a copy of it today but blue ray is the way!

hmm, like the idea. But I guess that is only for the A-movies. But I agree it should be fun.

I think, of all the DVDs, Canyon Dreams is the most ripe for remastering. I loved the CD and only have the VHS otherwise. The DVD is apparently a poor remaster of the VHS original.
was it ever available on Laserdisc?

Im sure I read somewhere the other day that it was available on Laser Disc at some point

Yep I agree with you. The dvd isn't much better than the video. It is a really poor remaster. Cannot think that Edgar has something to do with it.

Who recommends this Blue Ray format ?

My DVD player decided it has had enough of TD and Motorhead DVD's and promptly died on Wednesday eve so Im looking for a new player !

find a BR player that upscales your normal DVDs mate

I can just splashed out on a Sony 40" LCD and a Panasonic Blu Ray /surround system just watched the latest Indiana Jones on it truly awesome picture & sound.
