This article in the Scotsman today, along with a list of upcoming gigs.

:)

ETA, they have comments on the page & I see a few folk have chipped-in pleasure at seeing TD on the bill. ;) :)

TBH, in the past the gig advertising has been the only reason I've bought/sought-out that paper.

It was about the only title that all the main Central Belt rock venues used to use.

See it less & less these days.

Daily Record on Fridays & Sunday Mail were the main issues for entertainment listings IIRC.

will do mate

Btw Brian, have you seen this advertised anywhere in Scotland yet? I've suggested they advertise in 'the List' but I can't check when I'm down sarf
Thanks

Nope, not seen anything outside of sites linked/discussed here. In fact I was browsing through a listing mag just the other day & could not find anything about it.

was thinking of starting a thread on my local music board but after being dragged into a right barney about self-interest & hard-selling ( aye right! :D ) over a small festival I was involved with, I hate to think how one or two of the other members might react to it! :D

Has anyone thought of emailing the new/alternative music show on Radio Scotland. They actually have had TD on their vote-for playlist in the last few months & otherwise, it might be right up their street. Vic Galloway is the presenter I think.
Cheers mate. I just emailed Radio Scotland...doubt whether I'll get a reply, but's probably worth the effort

I think we can safely move out of the phone box and into a pub now :)
Looks like this might be a small intimate meet a bit like the gig itself 8)

Hope to join in

'sfunny - I'm sorting out travel and accomodation and getting a bit stressed as it's a long way from the gig of the night before but then of course one considers that the band have the same issue logistically × equipment × having played the gig the night before× going to play that night

all quite humbling really
imho
