including the band? ;) I've been told that the tickets are selling well...BUT I think some extra advertising will be needed for the hall to be even near full.

I'm having Mac fitted for a sandwich board this afternoon. One half is advertising the gig, the other for a 'Golf Sale' :wink:

Thanks for adding the list to your blog mate.

I'm thinking of Mathers Bar - it has a good reputation and is quite near the venue, however I would like to check it out beforehand (any excuse :lol: ) and check opening times on a Sunday.

From what I read on websites such as BeerInTheEvening and Edinburgh Pub Guide, bars on Lothian Road are not too great.

So, provisionally it's Mathers.
