Post by JD »

Wasnt sure where in the forum this should go ?

Anyway, does anybody know which keyboards TD used as the main sound sources in the CD Poland, and also Edgars Pinnacles ?

there's a complete list of the equipment used on the original LP and cassette issue of Poland. I'll post a list later next week, if nobody else beats me to it.

Ah, DX7. I thought that flute sound at the the start of Babakane sounded familiar. I have a tone generator with the old DX series sound presets and I found it on there!!!! :D

Hello,
the instrument list is somehow wrong, Edgar plays an original PPG Wave 2.0
and Johannes an PPG Wave 2.2. Just nerdy synth spotting stuff:D . And in the video there's nowhere a MTI synergy. Don't know if they include the studio overdub equipment also

if you've seen any photos of TD (from the side) during this period you'd notice that TD seem to have 'some' equipment 'off'-stage, so it's at least possible that they didn't have it on stage during the concert...but it was used (or perhaps just in the studio during the remixing and re-recording process?)
