Montreal 19.06.1986, Sorry not Toronto 1986

Post by HarryPotter No7 »

I have this concert (part of my favourite TD tour) on a TT/TL collection.

Whilst Paul is playing his piano solo someone in the crowd (I assume, can't see it being a TD member) screams 'yeeehaaaaaa' and then all of the audience laugh and clap.

was anybody on this forum present at that gig? or does anyone know what it was all about?

This is my all time favourite concert recording to date and have always wondered what this little 'incident' was about, maybe it's nothing, just a drunk or something......maybe someone can shed a bit of light.....?

Cheers

  • Great recording.
  • I did not notice the yee-haa, the last time I listened to it.
  • The encore called Fantasy Fair is very fine. An uptempo, 80's streamlined version of Dolphin Dance from Underwater Sunlight, with a show-off guitarsolo!
  • Great solos in Bois De Boulogne. :)
  • Otherwise, not that above the standard from 1986.
  • It seems the taper changes his tape several times.
  • The audience had a great night, that's the most important. :D

There was a rodeo as a side show to the concert that day
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

Nevermind. One of the few concerts in 1986 to include Dominion!
