The more ethereal, cosmic side of the Tangs music has now largely given way to power and energy, sometimes dark and demonic, sometimes blindingly incadescent. There are still moments of quiet beauty, rippling rhythms, wistful flute like sounds, Edgar classical quotes on piano. But mostly now they are in Overdrive."

At their peak and 4 years too early for me. So cruel!

In 1977 TD were indestructible and on fire. Nothing they did was bad.
MrCox and I did some reviews of the recordings from that tour. http://td.pertou.dk/eng-tt.htm

I'd have been ok. I started shaving and going to X rated movies, aged 11. The downside was I had to pay full fare on public transport.

I love recordings of shows from this tour. I wonder if a recording will ever turn up from one of those last few (July?) shows they did, wherein "Coldwater Canyon" evolved.
