try http://www.booking.com/
Personal I find this a good site for booking a hotel.
There are a lot of choices.

Me too, east of Rotterdam.
For me it is 75 minutes driving by car.

(little hint for hotelsleepers planning Rotterdam)

I have booked the cheapest room I could find on BOOKING.COM. It's very near the Central Station (I plan taking a Night train, as I don't like planes and airports).
I don't give a damn about stars, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything less posh in the city of Eindhoven.
