These are great Tim - did you use AutoCAD for them?

Thanks Stephen - no they were done on Solidworks - 3D modelling software - a tad more expensive then Autocad.

My first love.

I can only say ( it shows if you read my topic about the melrose years ) that Optical race was is and will be my first love with TD music. With optical race i discoverd TD which influenced my own style as an arranger ( i play keyboards and am member of a dutch dance formation ) ...

I was 16 years of age and I played optical race over and over again .. After that I started collecting TD music in combination with other electronic sounds including technomusic and ambient ( also ravesounds ).
I even produced my own TD alike music in the early 90ties with some hardware equipment ( Roland w-30, roland jx-305, atari STF and so on ).

Nowadays we produce dancemusic with fruityloops studio and cubase next to cool edit with software synths.

OPTICAL RACE !! YOU GO !!

MD.

Now playing again. It is one of my favourites. After a period of non TD, I bought this one and fell for it. TD never went away after that. :D

The rest of the album: Absolutely brilliant!

One of TD's great albums from that era. I have not played this for many years but still have fond memories from the first playing; the melody, sounds and production absolutely stunning. The artwork was also rather intriguing.

I also recall some of it's pieces played live were also pretty spectacular. The memory is failing me on track names, is it Ghazal (love song), well hearing this live in the Sheffield City Hall, with the shear volume and acoustics; amazing. One of those real goose bump moments. was there another piece used in the early 80's tour sets or was that Flying Khamikazee?

Have not listened to the remixed/recorded version but to be truthful would rather leave the original unspoilt in my memory.
