Welcome to the forum bluemonday. I'm no musician and can't help I'm afraid, but there are others here who can.

Try Exit, Poland and a lot of the mid-eighties soundtracks such as Flashpoint and The Park is mine.

Welcome to the forum BTW (the PPG is my fave synth, after the Jupiter 8)

Depends which model you want to hear, Edgar had one of the first PPG synths available, you can see him playing it live in 1976. If you also look at the famous B&W photos of TD in East Berlin in 1980 you'll see PPG equipment also being used, therefore it appears on Pergammon (especially the decending temple block sounds). Tangram, Exit (preset 60, choir sounds etc etc), White Eagle (epecially the title tracks melody and distorted guitar type patch), Logos (especially during the first 10 minutes and the sequencer track that comes out of the doomey bass notes on side two) Hyperborea (using the PPG Waveterm), and Poland all use the PPG Wave 1, 2.2 and 2.3. The PPG was also extensively used on Edgar's solo records Stuntman and Pinnacles.

In addition TD also used the PPG live during countless tours (up to 1986) and on loads of soundtracks (Legend etc etc)

TD used it right from the beginning. Especially on Le Parc (the piano sounds I seem to remember...I should check) and Poland, plus the start of Hyperborea (have a listen to the new Hyper Sphinx track on the EP).
From memory TD were still using the DX7II on their 1988 and 1990 tours.

Edgar's currently using a software version of the DX series on his Plasma screen live, although whether this is actually being used as more than a backdrop is just a guess. Looks good though

On the CD "Near Dark" and "Heartbreakers" the DX7 was used.
Hyperboera uses many PPG Sounds.

Sorry to resurrect this, but can you tell me what they used for that brassy lead in 'Logos Velvet'?
Is that a PPG or something else?

Waldorf have recently released the PPG3.v VST which I have had as a Chrissy present. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet but look forward to exploring it and recognising sounds.

I have that VST too, but I haven't figured out how to use it properly. I'd love to create some amazing sounds with it, but I'm afraid my technical understanding is rather poor.
