Interesting..... I dont think I picked this up from anywhere (Apologies - if it was in Zest Andy then I must have missed it)

That's very cool.

Shame that Brian didn't step out on stage at The Lowry gig, that would have been great to see.

Might be interesting, sure ! Brian May is one of my favourite guitar players, well he was on the 5 first Queen albums, at least.... Seems ages ago. But he did some fine work later too, especially on Innuendo.
Brian will, in the end, have played with several of my favourite musicians.. Eddie Van Halen, Steve Hackett (a pity they didn't do more and something more ambitious than just a couple of AOR tracks) and now TD - which I would have never expected !

wouldn't have heard him though couldn't hear bernhard at times

Yeh. Bernie was a little low in the mix occasionally. He played some blistering stuff though. I was over towards his side of the stage and was knocked out by his playing. He's getting better and better.
