Renaissance Revolution on BBC2

Post by billythefish »

It's on now - in the first few minutes we have already had Sequent C and a track from Stuntman, plus some Can and some Brian Eno. Sounds like one to watch :)

It was awesome to see 'The Creation of Adam' with 'Phaedra' as the soundtrack. I'll be recording this if it's on catch up TV or downloading it to CD 8)

Caught the last 7 minutes or so and was very impressed. I'll probably try to catch the full thing on the BBC iPlayer. Is this a new series?

Darn!!! I'm working tonight.

It's the sort of programme that was made for HD. I'll have to try to catch the rest of the series on HD.

I see the next was is about Hieronymus Bosch. Should be good.

Here is the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... he_Meadow/

Can someone tell me what the music was at 23.23-23.55? was it by Brian Eno? It was really inspiring to hear such music alongside such powerful art and it sent a chill down my spine. Very good to get an insight into Renaissance art aswell :)

Did anybody get a chance to record this episode? It will not play here across the pond and over the hills far away! :( Thank you.
