It's an impossible task to manage an open forum lke this - I'm sure though there are many of us who would be happy act as limited mods.

all we can do is alert TD-Musics admin (I know that they may not have the time to police the forum all day......).....

every morning now, when I look at this forum there's new spammers

dear spammers: PLEASE, PLEASE FUCH OFF....and leave us in peace....

just sad, lonely, pathetic criminally insane lowlife who must be EXTERMINATED

PS: Its hard work as admin of a forum, although mine is pretty insignificant, I spend hours a day administrating it to ensure its spam free.

Yes, how about some forum members being moderators? Then the spam could be corrected faster. Also a good idea, is to ban certain email post-fixes.
This has really decreased the spam profiles at td.forumup.org.
I believe that the spammers snatch up a matching word somewhere on the forum, and then do the spam.
One of the members at mentioned forum, wrote in his profile that he had retired due to medical reasons, and suddenly there were plenty of profiles promoting medicine, and obviously some blue tablets.
I vote for a forum that is not public.

Just after the forum opened, I posed a question regarding the size of the admin. dept. on this site. I guess I've got my answer now and it would appear that they rarely browse the forum. I agree with Jacob, that this forum should be removed from the public domain.
