Great poll Hans :D
I voted for Tyger in the end - I make no secret for my love of 'Smile' from that album (although I know many hate it  )
I also think the other tracks are superb and extremely well constructed.

Cyclone - I love that album also, but I don't think the vocals add anything to an already great album.

If 'Shy People' was up there, I would be torn how to vote, because I think that has some of the best vocal music TD have ever written.

I left it behind because it's not a regular album but a soundtrack that's why. But it's a good one.

:D ...Smile, Tyger

I'm way out of the TD loop.

What makes MFD so good :?:

well, in my humble opinion, what makes MFD 'good' is that its a very odd record, it has a strange deep melancholy running through it, its a tough listen as its very multilayered with weirdly off vocals and instrumental backing that is both very TD and very familiar. Not by any means TD's finest hour but a challenge nonetheless, and in music I enjoy a challenge. I rate it highly but its not a record to really enjoy in a traditional way..........I prefer Cyclone for that :D

Oops, indeed you forgot this one Hans. I didn't think of it either.
However it should not change my opinion.

MFD is definitely one of TD's finest hours.

Thanks, epsilon. But you are lucky, too - I'm jealous of your edgar towel (which I read sometimes ago) and your arm signature.... By the way, did it become a tattoo??

Well the towel is still wrapped away for safe keeping and has not been washed since 12th May 2001,sadly the arm signature did not become a tattoo as most of it had faded by the time i got home  maybe there will be another opportunity in the future
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.
