Thank you very much Cyclone. The 'Voices on the Net' links are very useful. Cheers. So it appears that these were first released on the 'Anthology Decades' album in 2008, but are actually tracks from a previous time, though previously un-released. These backdates sound largely more or less made up,...

Being met with a bewilderingly enthusiastic  response, well, here goes…

I think polls shall run for 4 weeks each so everyone gets a chance to vote; I'll post maybe 1-2 or so per week so as not to overload the forum… poll order shall be random for variety. So, first two coming soon :)

whatever the truth, at least the music ain't bad, although 'personally' I think TD have done better on other soundtracks actually, and I still think it, the Keep is pretty overated...there's a couple of nice tracks but apart from that not much that stays in the memory Consistent ambience is one of ...

OK, Vic's latest newsletter informs about "another ex-TD member" being confirm'd, but I'm not seeing anything. I would suspect Jolliffe (who has participated previously), but no sign of him on the event site. :?:

A very unusual post but a sensible one Jok..I was a bit of a late comer to Schulze I bought Mirage in 83 I think. I can understand why a lot of people don't like Klaus' music. Personaly I find most of his eras uplifting and there are very few of his albums I totally dismiss. I can think of a few th...

An extract from a private letter from JP to TD (circa 1973): ...As an afterthought I should say that after a day of listening to perhaps 15 or 20 new (and usually terrible) LPs my lady and I sit down and listen to “Zeit” before going to bed. It clears all that muck out of heads... Did they cite thi...

I'm kinda curious what "crossfades" means BTW. Weren't the '88 concerts (just like almost everything from TD) well bridged, with no real pauses for extra applause?

TD Album Championships

So I got this silly idea to put TD albums up against one another… One-on-one, and the forum determines the winner, poll-wise. Sound good to you? Then we keep going until we have one ultimate winner  So as to not get this out of hand, let's say this is limited to original albums (not compila...

Very talanted guy is Brin and its refreshing that a guy is runing a webpage where the music is 100% free to download, he doesn`t even have an option for donations from listeners which I think would be a good idea. Also worth checking out his other site BFW recordings where there is a lot of music f...

what I am saying is.... one needs the journey to make the discovery......travel with the artist to understand them and perhaps you will enjoy the music more. If you're referring to having been there since the 70s, that's a bit difficult to pull off these days, then. —Come to think of it tho,...

Welp, I stumbled here while on the lookout for something else, but this is quality stuff! :D I found Slow Jam With Flute And Water particularly hypnotic. The online version of Music for Horns loops, I think. That, or it's just 3h+ long… and it was described as an excerpt . That really messed with my...
