Re: Big news from Peter Baumann

And another post from Peter: Thank you all for your kind comments. I'm just now sitting in a plane returning from Austria after meeting with Bianca and the TD crew. After many, many years, last October I felt compelled to return to making music - that's when I contacted Edgar and visited him in Aus...

Re: Worst TD tracks

Just for kicks, I decided to listen to "Turning Off The Wheel" right now. It's not awful, but I'd need to be in the right mood to appreciate it. Someone once hinted that it's one of Edgar's compositions, and I must say I believe it. It's certainly one of his, as is "Valley of the Kin...

Re: Worst TD tracks

We can't like everything. I freely admit that the 1990s is the decade of TD's I like the least. I understand there are many fans who love the band's output during that decade, but I have to cherry pick, and I come up with much less versus the two previous decades. Recent years saw albums released th...

Re: Some news on Franke

I have since sold off all of my Babylon 5 CDs. They were good for the time but there wasn't much to hold on to, as opposed to the sheer pleasure I derive from spinning Stratosfear, Thief or Underwater Sunlight for the zillionth time. Chris needs a collaborator to sound his best. He's not a Froese, B...

Re:

we do not really hate any TD music, but the LP ' LE PARC ' is pretty dire. bought this on vinyl when it first came out, only played it a couple of times. must be the best vinyl copy around nowadays, like brand new steve/lisa Wow, I am floored. Even though it is now 30 years old (!!!), I think Le Pa...

Re: Tribute to Edgar Concert

was there any mention of where this tribute show may be taking place? I signed up for the newsletter but haven't received it so far. I'm holding onto hope that they will play in the US. I will certainly fly to any city they play here. It's only in the earliest planning stage. I assume it will be a ...

Re: Tangerine Dream Metropolis OST on EBAY

Isn't that the same cover art used for the Metropolis rock soundtrack that featured a couple tracks by Giorgio Moroder? It's sort of similar, but then ANYTHING to do with Metropolis will look similar... I compared them and they used art from elsewhere for the front cover, but the back cover art is ...

Those Orange Records boots are amusing. Isn't that the same cover art used for the Metropolis rock soundtrack that featured a couple tracks by Giorgio Moroder?

Re: Tribute to Edgar Concert

When I click 'SIGN UP' it deletes the country, which causes the 'Select a Country' prompt to reappear. Any way around that?
