Re: QUANTUM KEY ep

Quantum Key is the best thing TD have done in years....superb production and exciting music. This bodes really well for the future of the band.

Cherry Red Vol 2 Bootleg Series has UNRELEASED concert

Hadn't spotted this before because I just assumed they were using stuff from the Tree/Leaves project. But volume 2 of this Official Bootleg Series seems to feature a previously unreleased concert from Paris 1978. I can't see it in the Voices In The Net listings, and there's no symbol in their concer...

New version of Warsaw 1983 video, with NO superimposed shots

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge yet...but recently someone posted a version of the Warsaw 1983 TV broadcast on youtube without any of the superimposed footage. No ballet dancer, no shots of polish architecture....just 30 minutes of TD on stage. Great to see this emerge after so many years. ...

Re: New Album Autumn 2015

As much as I admire, love and respect Edgar and all he achieved in his life with TD and his solo work, I believe the band can continue. Speaking as a fan of over 30 years, the new line-up is intriguing and it'll be fascinating to listen to what they achieve without Edgar's input. It may open up a ne...

Voices In The Dunes book...free to a good home!

I've not looked at my copy of VITD for years and years, mainly because the net version is so much more comprehensive and up to date. Therefore if there's anyone out there who wants it, please get in touch. I don't want anything for it, all I ask is that you pay the postage. Thanks, Chris.

Re: New Farewell Tour CD & Blu Ray

I think you'll find they played 4 shows there in 1982.

" In their first Australian performance since 1975, legendary German electronic music pioneers, Tangerine Dream, will perform on Melbourne Town Hall’s Grand Organ, Sunday 16 November."

TD @ Friars Vale Hall, Aylesbury 1975 - recording duration?

On the "Blast From The Past" CDs in the Tree/Leaves project (Vol 49), there is a partial recording from TD's concert in Aylesbury in 1975, with a running time of 33.56. On youtube (link below) there is a recording from the same show that runs for 45.24. It contains the same 33.56 piece as ...

Re: Worst TD tracks

I don't think I actually hate any TD tracks....sure there's many pieces that don't do much for me, many pieces I find dull, meandering and aimless album fillers. But hate? No. I just don't listen to them. Instead I listen to the hundreds and hundreds of hours of brilliant music that I think does wor...

Good explanation Andy, I think that will enlighten everyone. Sounds like quite an innovative way to use the score during the game.

I'm looking at the 22 tracks listed on Volume 2: The Score on Spotify....seems a bit confusing as to what is TD and what is the other artists, or am I missing something?

Had Plas Des Arts Montreal 77 on today...it's such a good recording that it makes a great companion set to Encore.

Re: Your Top 10 TT recordings, the 'must have's!

Good call with Paris 86, I listened to this today in the car, along with Cologne 86 as a comparison. Superb sound quality and some outstanding unreleased music, and the first tour I saw them on!
