Re: Worst TD tracks
Worst track for me: "Dancing on a white moon" I LOVE this track !!!!! I've always felt like I shouldn't really enjoy "Dancing on a White Moon." But actually I do, despite myself. Kind of a guilty pleasure, this track :) Another track I'm not keen on: "Gecko" from LILY ...

Re: Worst TD tracks
"Funky Atlanta." I suppose it's meant as a fun track and should be appreciated as just that, but I always thought it was awful. Although I enjoyed a lot of ROCKOON when it came out...

Re: alternate TANGRAM cassette cover
My old Virgin cassette of this album had the Tangram game design on the cover (your first example), but in my case (no pun intended) it was black and white, not red and white!

Re: Canyon Dreams. Real Landscape music.
I think several TD fans will point you towards the album Oasis (another landscape film soundtrack). It has a similar feel to Canyon Dreams, in my opinion. Oasis is from the mid 1990s, so is a more recent work by TD. I agree that Canyon Dreams is very good and has sounds and textures that are reminis...

Re: Lets get TD on BBC Radio 2
Absolutely beautiful music, for sure. Actually I should have said Tangram set one and set two, now I remember!T4N63R1N3 DR34M wrote:That's the one.Steve C wrote: According to my copy of Tangram 2008, Wisdom and Tragedy is the opening 7 minutes or so of part 1 - a good choice.

Re: Lets get TD on BBC Radio 2
Simon Mayo's show on Tuesday has a spot after 6pm where they play songs longer that 5 minutes. This week, it was Pink Floyd. I'm suggesting that Cloudburst Flight would be a good choice - accessible TD for the masses with brilliant guitar. Any other suggestions? Tangram - Wisdom and Tragedy section...

Re: Paul Haslinger - In The Blood (2014)
http://moviescoremedia.com/in-the-blood-paul-haslinger/ Thanks for the link. Nice airbrushed eye candy on the cover, and what a funny title the first track has  I also noticed that the film stars Treat Williams, a fine actor who was great with Kris Kristofferson in the brilliant Flashpoint!

Re: Vanishing Blue
Black Garden View and Purple Waves from PCF I meant PCH, not PCF of course ! :? By the way, I also really like Vanishing Blue, and the rest of that CD from the Dream Roots Collection. It would have made a good release on its own in the 80's I know what you meant  I look at that CD from the Dr...

Re: Poland
Whatever the format, an absolutely brilliant album with the Schmoelling influenced band at the height of their powers I couldn't agree with you more. This album has so many highlights. It doesn't get any better than this...and Logos of course! Yes, 3 great UK tours from 80,81 & 82, together wit...

Re: Poland
For my money, the best quality release overall is the original edited Jive Electro CD. Very powerful overall, frequencies well handled. The Relativity release, although good & refreshingly complete, has always sounded a little bit tinnier to my ears - and I first heard this release many, many, ...

Poland
A while ago I bought the Esoteric CD release of Poland. The liner notes and booklet presentation are superb, but I was disappointed (as others have been) with the sound quality. I believe this has something to do with whoever did the mastering using noise reduction - there's no hiss, true, but the o...
