Why did you stop posting in this forum?

In the last few years this forum has gotten more and more silent. It used to be an active place for fans and friends of great electronic music. There were lots of nice discussions (and several ones that turned bad). Nowadays I am lucky if I find ONE new comment a week. What really happened? It seem...

Re: The Sessions VI = The End

I think- for me- this release is a perfect time to drop out. The addition of Paul Frick seems to be a subtle attempt on the part of Thorsten to push Hoshiko Yamane out of the band. All the live photos I've seen over the past few years show her cramped into a very small space on the stage, and now t...

Re: Edition J

I buy them all as they are released.
Nothing strange about the fact that it is nothing about it on this forum though. This forum is dead, and has been for a very long time. I have no idea where everyone went.

Re: TD memorabilia book

Received the book the other day. It is a fantastic piece of work/art. Looks good on the coffe table. Of course, as mentioned, you can only look at so many ticket stubs, but it really contains a lot more than that. Press releases for example. The earliest mostly in German, but naturally in English fr...

Re: Fred-E Skywalker aka Misterdance - BANDCAMP.

I listened to Inner Buddha. Lots of great sounds. Which of your albums or compositions would you recommend for ambient listening? And in your opinion, what album is most similar to for example later TD?
Keep up the good work!

Re: Paul Frick new TD member

Of course excited about what he can contribute to the band, and the new album. But what I have so far heard of Brandt Brauer Frick did not immediately grab me. Anything by them, or by Paul Frick, that is considered obligatory listening? I would be happy to give it a listen.

Re: New TD book coming!

What did you disagree with? Yes, the front cover is weird and has got nothing to do with TD. Should have been a collage over all the different band members up through the years. THAT had been cool. Can't remember, but there were several things that seemed a bit strange to me. But especially that he...

Re: New TD book coming!

Yes, enjoyable book. I have finished reading it. I learned many new things, but I also disagree in several of the authors statements. I spotted a few mistakes, but enjoyed the solid list of releases it covered. Many of my favourites where only covered briefly, but it was cool that he included all th...

Ulrich Schnauss - Now Is A Timeless Present

I got this new box set from Ulrich a little while ago. I must say that the re-recorded material is fabulous! Fantastic, sonic music. Real ear candy. It's the albums A Long Way To Fall (renamed A Long Way To Fall - Rebound for this box set) and No Further Ahead Than Today (renamed No Further Ahead Th...

Re: Mangorine Dream from Dry & Bitter Brewery

Hi I have already bought and tasted the beer so be aware SPOILER HERE BELOW----- The beer taste a lot more of juice than beer....but the taste is not bad - so dream on.... SPOILER OFF... :-) Yeah, I guess it's very fruity (Tangeriney). I almost only drink regular pilsner beer, but I ordered four ca...

The official description for this beer: You may try to cross the Rubycon but you can’t help but get taken away by this force majeure of fruit and tang. A cyclone of Mango & Tangerine transports you past the invisible limits to a tropical hyperborea. https://www.dryandbitter.com/products/mangorin...
