Chicane

I don't like all dance music, but I must admit I do like quite a lot of Chicanes stuff!!!! I get the impression they are inspired by TD - anyone ever heard Offshore?

Chris Franke - The Celestine Prophecy

I have a couple of tracks off this album on my iPod - a bit too new agey for some, but I love the track Vinciente. Some of the sound remind me of Pacific Coast Highway.

Edgar's Health

Hi guys, long time no see. Who remembers me? Just a quick ask for the Eastgate gang. I know that it probably none of my business - but in recent concerts DVD's I have been concerned oh how thin Edgar looks and his stetson cowboy hat hides his face, but he does look gaunt. I'm just a concerned fan wh...

Re: Linda on sax before the first break at the London show

I think that the track that Linda was playing on sax before the first break at the show of London was a TD version of the Sarabande from Haendel but I' m not sure. Do you think the same thing? It was one of the many surprises of this fantastic show. For sure, 300 years before Edgar, Haendel was too...

I think the Emulator was cheifly responsible for the change in Vangelis's sound in the late 80's too, if albums like 1988's 'Direct' are anything to go by, sampled flutes and guitars - a - rama.

As an electronic musician myself I would love to peep on one of Edgars studio sessions just for some good tips on using the equpiment, finding the best ASIO sound drivers to run softsynths on PC's and stuff like that!!
