The American version of Life on Mars debuted last week. Not bad, but then it was pretty much a line-for-line adaptation of the original British pilot. (They even copied the show's logo.) Here's hoping the subsequent episodes are just as entertaining.

I recently got Brian De Palma's "Phantom of the Paradise" on DVD. Still a very good movie IMHO. Some good songs and quite a lot of humor, esp. from Gerrit Graham as the bisexual glam rocker Beef.

The thing that really disappoints me is that TD's DVDs are all in the PAL format. Any chance of releasing Eindhoven in Region 1 (or better yet, all regions)? Pretty please??

Too, too many to choose from. Lessee ... Definitely anytime the "alien dogs" sound effect comes in (tho' I personally call it the "night creature"). The opening "bass" sounds that open and close "Icarus." The sequencer beginning on "Stratosfear." The...

I think Autumn is slowly approaching. All this week we've got lows in the 60s F. and highs in the mid-80s F., but the humidity is starting to go down. Feels nice.

Colin, I'm glad you are remaining as a member of this forum. I have always found your posts informative and well-thought-out. All too frequently I have seen people leave forums like this in a huff like a spoiled child when things don't go their way. Your mature approach to what is apparently an unco...

I think autumn is finally drawing near. This morning's low was in the mid-50s F. and the high will be in the low to mid-80s, but at least the humidity is way down. Looking forward to autumn (and Autumn in Hiroshima :D ).

The music world has lost yet another voice. I'll have to listen to Echoes sometime soon in his honor. Requiescat in pace, Mr. Wright, and thanks for all the music.
