Re: In memory of Edgar Froese

Hi, He showed up in one of my dreams and we were talking about "art" ... he said that "art" doesn't exist ... that it was all just a "moment in time" and the word was created to identify that moment ... but rarely had anything to do with the work itself. So much like hi...

Re: "I DREAM OF WIRES"

The comprehensiveness of any documentary is largely dependent on who you are able to agree to appear in it. I doubt you'll ever get Kraftwerk to appear in a documentary like this, but it can't be said to be definitive without any mention of 4 or 5 of the great names in the field. It's like a docume...

Re: Edgar and TD - the Force Majeure autobiography

Hi, Been reading some odd things, and finished Andy Partridge's (what a fun book to read) and was already worrying about what next, when "Future Days" arrived. Yeah ... it's good, and I am enjoying it, and it will make a wonderful preface to Edgar's book, and hopefully it will get to my ha...

The Bardo of a Dead Artist

The Bardo of a Dead Artist Pt1 As I was falling asleep last night i was dreaming I was flying way out there in the dark seems like I was a point of light in the middle of nowhere ... many things come and go through my mind ... but none stronger than the music that flows and flies and lives within me...

Hi,

I agree with ant, and I thank him for the gentleness and appreciation for our own caring so much that we want to be there ... the fish-stink comment was not necessary, I do not think!

Re: Vernissage in honour of Edgar Froese Berlin 30 January 2

Hi, Thanks for posting this ... but you left a fan crying that is on the other side of the world, with no chance to ever see these things, and this could have been streamed ... easily enough. It's sad, but sometimes it feels like the whole thing is a private club, and others don't have a chance, and...

Re: Baumann has left TD

Please have a look: http://www.bureau-b.com/peterbaumann.php Thanks for posting this, Axel. Personally, I can't wait to see what Peter has produced and there is the promise of more music to come. This is the best news I've had since Loom and Perge ! Lovely to hear from Peter ... this is indeed a ni...

Edgar's book should be out this year, that's all we know.
And thanks so kindly ... EB also replied on the other thread.

Re: Edgar and TD - the Force Majeure autobiography

:) Thanks EB. I am very much looking forward to it and yes, I am sure it will authentic and genuine and in Edgar's words. Why would it be anything else? Hipgnosis always has his opinions but not many agree with, or, half the time, even understand them. 'In another world' comes to mind!! :) Thanks E...

Re: Edgar and TD - the Force Majeure autobiography

Ah. Well, that's not what I was implying. Jerome has made it clear that he thinks the TD project should have ended with Edgar's passing. So I suspect that he would have no interest in co-operating with those who wish to keep the band project going. Pure speculation on my part, of course. In the end...

Re: Paul Haslinger - Fear The Walking Dead

Hi, Haven't heard this yet, and won't say anything until I do, but on a similar thread, when Chris Franke was doing music for Babylon 5, for the most part, it was horribly used and totally misdirected and unfocused, to the point that I felt the music was incidental, and one can only hope that in thi...
