Another curiosity.
The FM-recording of this (complete with announcer, which makes it authentic) is totally different to the Tree-version (which has no announcer).
But both are great TD-recordings with great music, like Zeit/Atem

The common recording of this, available through the trees, is not Tangerine Dream and is not 1968. Pre-Tree this was circulating for 20 years under the name Live 72/73, unknown. Then the Tree-Operators renamed it to Grugahalle 1968, for unknown reasons. What TD sounds at that time, you can see in th...

Of course in my opinion and of course in your opinion. The London Eye concert and Rocking Out The Bats are not very much edited and reflect a very good live atmosphere - just give them a try. Does the picture really reflects the sound? On the Epsilon Journey it really disturbs me, that there is a M...

I think Nik Turner jammes with the 60's TD sometimes. Don't know if it's true.24db wrote:One of Hawkwind's members used to play in TD, didn't he?
Klaus Krüger played with Dave Brock on an Iggy Pop album.

Re: TD track associated with a love affair...:-)
If I ever meet a girl who likes "Zeit" I shall rush off and marry her upon the very instant. My ex-girlfriend (10 years ago) really loved "Zeit" and played it often and very loud and bass heavy (You can't imagine how annoying this is, when you want to sleep in the room next door...

I didn't bought the CDs yet, because I was very disappointed with Phaedra 2005. Can some confirm if the Booster Tangram Chin Part is identically to the version on the new CD? And is Hyper Sphinx from Booster nearly as good to the version on the new Hyperborea? Same question for Sphinx Red Lightning ...
