Re: Jerome

Jerome was quite categoric in his statement that their will be no concerts with the name TD. I imagine he therefore has full control over the name and any new band with the other members will have to re-name themselves. How about 'Dream on' ?? Sure you all have suggestions. People are mis-reading w...

Re: Jerome

I respect Jerome as a musician. He has done some very good solo work and I really like LOOM, but LOOM is not TANGERINE DREAM and neither is Jerome. I respect his decision not to have any part of TD ever again. As an artist, you have to be free enough to pursue your art however you see fit, otherwise...

Re: Big news from Peter Baumann

It appears that many rumors and assumptions are running like wildfire in regards to Baumann's return to music in general and Tangerine Dream specifically. TD means so much to so many of us and many of us are eager to learn if TD will continue and yet others feel as though it should end here. I must ...

Re: Big news from Peter Baumann

I am stunned beyond belief.

As I sit here reading these posts about Baumann, I have tears in my eyes.

I am so happy, sad and excited all at the same time.

The Dream will LIVE ON!

Re: Supernormal - The Australian Concerts 2014

I find that "Pilots of Purple Twilight" has been mis-labled as "Exit" many times in past releases.....

Re: Worst TD tracks

Thanks for the kind words, folks. Listen, I'm not here to judge or mediate. We are all here because of our love for such an amazing and unique band that has provided the soundtrack to our hearts and lives. Our opinions are our OWN and no one can change that....and that's OK. We love what we love and...

Re: Booster VII - the final Booster...

The track "Morning Sun" sounds like something very similar from "The Park Is Mine", if not a "reworked" song from that soundtrack. If that is the case, then there is definately some Schmoelling work in there! "The Light Cone 2015", although an Edgar track, mad...

Re: Worst TD tracks

Hey, gang! EVERYONE has an opinion about EVERYTHING. That is just HUMAN NATURE. TD's music, just like movies, works of art, types of food, etc., etc, are entirely SUBJECTIVE. There is no "good" or "bad" or "this is better than that". We each subject ourselves to what we...

WHATEVER the future holds for TD, no matter WHO is a part of it or who is NOT, I will support it and approach it with an open mind.

Re: The News About Edgar

Most people will say a steak is better than a hamburger, but I like both. I wouldn't want to have a steak every single day, nor would I want a hamburger that often either. TD's music is like that. It all depends on what you want/need at the time and these wants/needs can change. There is no "go...

Re: Which is the best TD concert which you have attended?

This is an easy question because I have only ever been to ONE TD concert! I will never forget the day. It was Saturday, September 17th, 1988 at the historical Saenger Theater in New Orleans (my home town). My girlfriend at the time went with me, but she was only a casual TD listener. I was a DIE HAR...

Re: Tangerine Dream Fan Survey

I just did the survey. Talk about DIFFICULT! Favorite TD album? Favorite TD track? HARD TO CHOOSE! Even rating each release on a scale from 1 to 10 is a challenge. In the past, I would have rated things differently. TD's music GROWS with me. My maturity and life experiences have changed the way I fe...

Re: Music

I know I'm behind on the times, but I just purchased by first LOOM release, "200 002".

Excellent work.

I especially love the sequencing on "Jet" and the new version of "Streethawk".

Edgar's legacy lives on through others.
